The Tuttnauer 2540MK and EZ10K Sterilizers: Built for Speed!
Need to get your cycles run through quickly? Go 220-volt. That boost allows the sterilizer to more rapidly get up to temperature and pressure, effectively cutting your average cycle time in half! The 2540MK and EZ10K have an unwrapped cycle time of only nine minutes from a warm start.
No other sterilizers on the market can boast this combination of speed and capacity. The only options with this speed (but much smaller capacity) would be the small 7" systems like the 1730 or the M7, or the single-cassette Statim systems.
What's the difference between the two models?
TheTuttnauer 2540MK, while quicker than an average sterilizer, is still a manual model, meaning that while it might have fewer moving parts, it also lacks the automated features you will find in the EZ10K. The biggest difference is that the EZ10K has closed-door HEPA-air-filtered drying. On the 2540MK, you will need to remove your instruments to let them dry (and you will probably want to handle them in instrument pouches). On the EZ10K, however, you can actually have the system run a closed-door drying cycle. Open the door and your instruments are nice and dry.

Why don't we post prices?
Short answer:
Because of the volume of our sales, the manufacturers we work with prefer we do not post our discounts online.
Longer answer:
There are a lot of sterilizer dealers online. Manufacturers believe that allowing dealers to post prices can easily inspire rabid price-competition, not to mention unscrupulous bait-and-switch practices, from some of the more unscrupulous (and desperate) vendors. Here at Fisher, we do not compete merely on price. Instead, we bring the very best value to our clients, not only before and during the sale, but long after, for the lifetime fo your equipment. We do not simply sell sterilizers. We sell long-term solutions.

Re: 220-Volt ...
It might be a hassle initially to set up an outlet for 220-volt, but the advantage in speed (depending on your work flow and caseload), might prove well worth it.
We can provide you with all of the electrical specs you will want to provide your electrician so that he can have the outlet ready for you in advance of your sterilizer arriving. And if your building is actually 208-volt? No worries. We have an easy solution for that as well!
Why Fisher?
Family owned and operated for over 25 years, Fisher Biomedical specializes in consulting with clients on their sterilization needs, having worked with medical, dental, and opthalmological offices, surgery centers and hospitals, veterinary practices, colleges and universities, government agencies and military installations, everything from small med spas up through major institutions and manufacturing laboratories — across the USA.
