If all you have are small instruments, or very few instruments, all you will likely need is a small-chambered sterilizer like the Tuttnauer 1730 Valueklave or the Ritter M7.
Quickest thing is to just estimate how much space you really need. A Tuttnauer 1730 has three trays, each 4.7" x 11.6", each separated by about an inch. (You can also take out one of the trays to allow for a bit more clearance.) If that sounds reasonable for what you need to sterilize, then you are in luck — you can get away with the least-expensive sterilizers, which also, because of their small chamber volumes, also happen to be the fastest sterilizers!
These small models only come in manual versions, unfortunately, but because of their rapid cycle time (about 6 to 9 minutes), you are never kept waiting long for sterile instruments.
