 NEW! Podiatry Ultrasound Training Resource Site
Our exclusive, members-only podiatry ultrasound training resource site contains everything you need in order to become an expert in the use of diagnostic ultrasound in your practice, including a section specifically featuring your colleagues training you on specific applications.
Training: Phone session (about one and a half hours)
When you receive your ultrasound, you spend about an hour and a half on the phone with me, Shawn Fisher, of Fisher Biomedical. Ideally, I like to spend half an hour initially with someone on your staff, getting the system set up properly for you before the session and training them how to best assist you. Then you and I get on the phone together and I walk you through everything you see on the screen and all of the primary controls, including a complete, ideal work flow for podiatric ultrasound — starting with the patient's name, all the way to the final step of printing and saving the annotated image. I also cover proper probe technique and give you a wealth of insights specific to foot and ankle imaging, which I have picked up over the years through working with hundreds of podiatrists all over the country.
You are going to love this session, and you will be astonished at how much we are able to cover. After this session, you are going to be up and running. Guaranteed.
And it doesn't stop there. You not only have access to all of the initial training materials (an absolute wealth of info and training), but you also receive any future materials I release, including the upcoming DVD volumes and proprietary software upgrades. What's more, I am always available to you on the phone if you have questions or need assistance, or if you would like me to walk someone on your staff through something over the phone.
And don't be suprised if I drop by your office at some point just to make sure you are solid on your work flow and to make sure your staff is clicking along with the right systems. Training: Podiatric Ultrasound Training Seminars
Our podiatry ultrasound training in the United States is moving forward in a rather grand and impressive way.
First, we are launching a podiatry ultrasound training resource site, exclusively for our clients. This site will provide additional training videos, sample images with audio commentaries from our most successful podiatrists, additional work flow and billing materials, and more. As we bring on additional training for new procedures, this is where you will be able to rapidly get up to speed and be ready to apply them in your practice.
Second, we are spearheading a 2-day, hands-on podiatry ultrasound training seminar, which will be the most comprehensive of its kind in the United States. This seminar is slated for later this year, and will likely take place in Orlando, FL, and Chicago, IL. (A likely third location will be announced soon — probably Dallas or San Francisco.) Our goal is to have this seminar not only approved for continuing education credit, but also authorized as the first-ever official accreditation for podiatry ultrasound.
Even if you are already fully up and running with ultrasound by the time the seminars come around, the seminar should still be beneficial and fun to attend, and I am sure you would get a great deal of value from attending.
We will keep our clients posted as all of this develops. We are obviously really excited about it. The new resource site and the seminars only show once again that with Fisher Biomedical you are in the best of hands!
 Is This Stuff For Sale Separately?
No, sorry. At least not yet. Our commitment is to our clients, and we want to do everything we can to give them the greatest advantages. This means that our training package is exclusively available to podiatrists who purchase their ultrasounds from Fisher Biomedical. We may eventually open up a portion of the website to doctors who haven't purchased their systems from us, but it's likely to be a while.
The seminars, however, will be open to everyone, although clients of Fisher Biomedical will receive massive discounts, red-carpet treatment, and bonus DVDs from the events.
