Quality used equipment : Excellent Condition ~ Like New!
Morgan Scientific Transflow PFT System
Sorry, no longer available.

Transflow complete pulmonary function testing machine:
Only one and half years old and has performed less than 15 tests! The system is in untouched condition!
Fully equipped with laptop computer and printer.
Comes complete with 100 filters, 5 new rubber mouthpieces, Manuals, Calibration Syringe, and Digital Barometer, as well as 2 full tanks (E cyl) of the mixed gas for diffusion testing.
System can be set up on table top and transported by car. Equipment currently packed in a custom fitted, insulated ATA case for immediate shipping.
Unbelievably accurate and ready to test.

Morgan Scientific has this to say about the Transflow Test:
All measurements of volume and flow are made using the gas viscosity corrected pneumotachograph. The calibration of the device is carried-out using a 3-Liter syringe and applying the techniques detailed by Gardner and Yeh. The gas viscosity corrections ensure accuracy of all volume measurements carried out during testing.
The Transflow Test incorporates three gas analyzers, Oxygen, Helium and Carbon Monoxide. Since the measured gas is also dried and 'scrubbed' of CO2 by the in-line absorber, the instrument can also obtain resultant Nitrogen balance.
A single cylinder of diffusion gas is all that is required to run the pneumatic valve and obtain measurements of diffusion and lung volumes!
Total Lung Capacity is measured by a technique using nitrogen recovery during the performance of a Single Breath Diffusion maneuver. A detailed guide to the physiology and equations used in this methodology is available from Morgan Scientific. Inc.
A complete series of pulmonary function tests including Flow Volume Loops, Slow Vital Capacity, Lung Volumes and Single Breath Diffusion can be completed in 15 to 18 minutes!
The Transflow Test is perhaps the most complete, yet simple to operate, pulmonary system on the market today.
Typically, technicians are able to complete full testing with as little as one hour of instruction! The instrument is supplied with a single laminated instruction sheet which guides inexperienced users through the ease of use. A much more detailed manual is also provided for in-depth background when desired.
Instrument Design:
The Transflow Test has been thoughtfully engineered to make the most of
strength, serviceability and size. It is particularly well suited to small
office locations or applications requiring frequent transport.
The entire gas analyzer and electronics assembly is housed in a removable tray for simple access and replacement in the event of service. The Transflow Test does not require frequent service or replacement of analyzer cells. It is designed for long service with minimal maintenance cost!
The single valve assembly is mounted on a balanced support arm that moves easily to any required height. An accessory 'arm extender' makes this arrangement ideal for bedside testing. The Transflow Test valve assembly is the very model of design excellence. It is ergonomic, efficient and extremely easy to disassemble for cleaning.
The Transflow Valve:
Pneumatic operation ensures faultless performance over years of testing. The
entire assembly can be disassembled in less than a minute for cold
sterilization. However, in recent epidemiological studies using viral filters,
it was proven that these valves required no attention at all even after
thousands of operations.
The Transflow Test valve is maintenance free!
Even a Perfect Partner for Plethysmography:
The Transflow Test and ComPAS software work in complete harmony with the
Morgan Body Plethsmograph. The distinctive cabin design and rapid
equilibration characteristics make the Morgan Plethysmograph the most
comfortable to 'wary' patients. Testing is extremely rapid. Measurement of
Thoracic Gas Volume, Airways Resistance and Specific Conductance can be made in
under 5 minutes.
